The concentration camp memorial site in Dachau attracts visitors from near and far. The site was established in 1965. It is located where the former concentration camp was and includes historic buildings and several memorials as well as pieces of art.
People settled in the area of Dachau even back in prehistoric times. Before the palace was built, there had already been a medieval fortress. Today, the palace is home to an exhibition and offers a marvelous view of the beautiful palace garden.
The Bavarian capital is well-known for its beauty and its many great sights. Important places, such as the Deutsches Museum or the Munich Trade Fair, make Munich Germany’s most well-visited city. You can get to Munich within a 15-minute train ride on the suburban train, the “S-Bahn”.
The Oktoberfest is a true piece of Bavarian tradition that is still alive today. It takes place each fall on the “Theresienwiese” in the center of Munich. Its modern rides are just as entertaining as the music in the beer tents that are hosted by Bavaria’s largest breweries.
The “Golfclub Dachau” is located just a few kilometers from our hotel. It offers an excellent modern golf court and a marvelous view of the natural environment. The larger Munich area offers numerous additional golf courts for golf players who are looking for a change of scenery, e.g. The “Golfclub Olching” and the “Golfanlage Rottbach”.
